Double degree in Law and Business Administration from the Autonomous University of Madrid, and a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance from Afi Global Education and Menéndez Pelayo University, having been awarded the Afi Foundation Excellence Scholarship. Over ten years of professional experience, he has led consulting projects with the financial management, corporate planning, and global risk control areas of numerous credit institutions in Spain and Portugal.
At Afi, he has led the launch of supervisory stress tests since 2016 for several significant institutions, achieving the best results in the exercises. He has also designed internal stress tests and scenario analyses, as well as diagnostic exercises and initiatives to strengthen the methodologies applied. Among other responsibilities, his work includes coordinating internal and supervisory stress tests, estimating expected loss models, defining traditional and emerging risk control frameworks, and designing management information systems, pricing models, risk-adjusted profitability metrics, and capital optimization strategies.
He is a lecturer and academic director in several programs at Afi Global Education and has also led forums and authored academic articles on capital stress testing and climate-related risks in Europe and the United States.
