Carmen López Herrera

Degree in Economics from the University of Extremadura (UEx). Master in Banking and Finance from Afi Global Education. PhD student in Public Economics from UEx.

He has developed his career focusing on public financial management, delving into different phases of the public policy cycle: budget formulation, public policy design, public budget analysis, medium-term budget plans, optimization of public revenues and expenditures, debt management, fiscal rules and evaluation of public policies ex ante and ex post. He carries out these tasks both in Spain and in other European countries, Latin America and Africa.

She combines this activity with academic activity through teaching at Afi Global Education and as editor of the Journal of Policy Evaluation (JPVAL). She is also a regular contributor to economic publications.
