Afi provides
economic, budgetary and financial advice to the public sector through its subsidiary Consultores de las Administraciones Públicas (CAP). The main aim, using the experience accumulated over almost 20 years, is to provide the support required in the rationalisation and modernisation of policies and by the public authorities themselves. Afi's competitive advantage lies in its ability to combine its broad experience in financial consultancy with
legal, economic-financial and public sector finance teams which bring solid expertise to the public sphere, with regard to budgetary management, public finance, national accounts (SEC-95), administrative and tax law, budgetary stability, etc.
Throughout its history, which has coincided with the decentralisation of the state, CAP has provided technical assistance to regional administrations in
the planning of new responsibilities and of their own geography, as well as in the development of all types of
infrastructure, under different public and public-private funding schemes, with a solid strategic consideration of the
growth and competitiveness models of the main economies nationally, regionally, locally or municipally.
The versatility of our
regional approach, whether macro, meso or micro, has allowed Afi to collaborate on
dozens of projects at all levels of Spanish public administration, impacting on critical factors in the growth of the Spanish economy during this time. The chart illustrates the broad coverage of public sector institutions, agencies and undertakings with which we have worked, geographically distributed throughout the national territory.
