Advice on financial investments
Provided by Afi, Inversiones Financieras Globales, EAFI, Afi's independent financial advice company (EAFI in Spanish), registered in the Spanish Securities Market Commission (CNMV) with number 10; its services include:
  • Advice on building investment portfolios (asset allocation), both overall portfolios and by asset class (fixed income, equity, alternative investments, currencies, structured products, etc.) with the goal of outperforming a benchmark index, achieving total return or minimising potential losses (VaR).
  • Advice on the selection of assets (security selection): bonds, promissory notes, equities, investment funds, funds of funds, ETF, ETC, hedge funds, etc.
  • Performance measurement (performance attribution).
  • Risk measurement and control (VaR, tracking error, etc.).

Financial advice in the field of investment may, therefore, have varying degrees of involvement. At the most basic level it is performance evaluation of management by third parties. From there, further value-added services can be included, such as recommendations on building financial asset portfolios. At the top end is the total outsourcing to Afi, Inversiones Financieras Globales, EAFI of decision-making related to the services mentioned above. All of this is done with maximum independence, as Afinet Global EAFI does not receive any kind of payment from product sellers, but only invoices the end client for its advice.

These are both private clients (family offices and wealthy individuals) and institutional clients (investment fund management companies, mutual funds (SICAV), pension funds, insurance companies, mutual societies, foundations or non-financial firms).
