Juan Manuel Bazo is an Economics graduate from Madrid’s Complutense University. He completed part of his degree course at Cambridge University, graduating with the highest honours and receiving Spain’s top national economics prize. He completed a Masters in Economics and Finance (CEMFI) in 2016.
He joined Afi’s Banking department in September 2016, initially carrying out banking consultancy projects in Spain and Algeria, where he participated in a project for the finance ministry. In 2019, within the Banking area, he began to specialise in international projects for international financial institutions and for other private international organisations. In the last two years, he has headed up over 10 projects with the World Bank and worked with private clients in Mexico and Portugal.
