Diego Vizcaíno is currently Managing Partner of Afi’s Applied Economics area. An economics graduate from Madrid’s Autónoma University, Diego is a participant in the Frontiers of Innovation and Entrepreneurship programme run by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an expert in economic analysis, regulatory implications and digital transformation.

He boasts over 13 years’ experience in economic analysis and strategic consulting. He heads up the ADEI Observatory, an initiative backed by Google, to track the development of the digital economy in Spain. He co-managed the Socio-economic impact of the modernisation of ride-sharing services in Spain report and has penned studies related with the urban economy, including The cities of tomorrow: Smart, digital and sustainable, which was published by the Telefónica Foundation.
