Aitor Milner is a graduate in Business Studies and in Actuarial and Financial Studies, in both instances from the University of Alcalá de Henares. He holds a Masters in Insurance Company Management from Icea. CERA, CGA.

Aitor brings more than 20 years’ experience in the insurance sector, having worked for several players, including Caser and HCCE in both Spain and the UK, as well as for consultancy firms such as PwC and KPMG. He has built up acumen in the internal management of the insurance business from both the technical and business sides of the business. His roles at insurance firms include control over non-life actuarial centres and executive insurance business duties in the car, home and health segments.

He is a full member of Spain’s Actuaries Institute, IAE, and has sat on the latter body’s governing board for its last two terms. From that position, he has represented the IAE before European and international actuarial associations as a member of different committees, and also before the European supervisory body and EIOPA. Aitor collaborates with a number of universities (Complutense, Carlos III, Malaga and Alcalá de Henares) on actuarial training.

He joined Afi in April 2021, assuming responsibility for the Insurance Consultancy area.
